This blog is all about enabling people to generate $$$ money $$$ with the help of Internet, Information technology, Virtual real estate!!! For now, these terms may seem hi-fi but they are not, as we go along you will realize how simple it is for anybody to start earning online.

You can earn money by spending 1 or 2 hours everyday or by working for few hours during weekend.

The information on this blog is free and you can make money by using the same methods, tips and tricks that is currently working for me.

What are the different ways of earning money online?
There are several ways to earning money, but you are "The ONE" who will make the choice the blue or red pill like in Matrix :-) . Don't worry the choice is not very touch.

a) Online Real Estate Trade: In order to make more money, "one has to buy low and sell high". Buy domain names, and then sell it for higher price. Alternatively, one can create a website of their own, popularize it and then sell it for higher price. I would like to give few examples of domain names that fetched lots of money for their owners, below are few domain names sold that can make you sweat!!!

Business.com was sold for $8 million
Wine.com was sold for $2.9 million
Autos.com sold for $2.2 million
Rock.com sold for $1 million
Truck.com, Beef.com were at one point of time sold for more than $100,000
Smoking.com was listed last for $500,000, Mr.com for $350,000 and Americans.com for $150,000

New Domain names that are not already taken can be registered for less than $10 per year but see the huge huge profits on selling them, WOW!!!

b) Online Auction or Retail Trade: Ebay is one place where you can sell anything old or new across the world. There are thousands of users trading online over Ebay. You can sell anything on Ebay like collectibles, books, clothing, Paintings, Photos, your old laptop, Jewelry etc., To be successful on Ebay, One should sell items that are not manufactured in bulk e.g.:- Jewelry or wooden articles or antiques.

c) Blogging: Blog (also know as weblog) is a simple website with frequent updates by author on topic or subject. You can allow readers to add comments. Weblogs can be used for providing educational information or provide reviews or expert opinion on books, Short Stories, Trading, Music, sports, cars, Bikes, Movies, Games, construction, saving money, Grammar, stamp collection etc., There are thousands of topics a blog can be written on. Choose a topic, which you are knowledgeable, and a topic, which you are passionate about. Blogging will also help you on learn more on the topic, share information and earn money ;-) Incase of Blogs, Advertising and Referral programs generate money. There are thousands of bloggers and webmasters who earn $100 to few 1000s a month.

d) Virtual or Part time Job: There are opportunities where in once can work for part time to provide service by writing (Creative or Technical or Proposal or Song or Poem or TV Script or Resume or any other topic) or by providing Language Translation or by doing marketing research in your area etc.,

e) Create and Sell Products: Products can be Blog Template or Sound Clip or Nursery Rhymes CD or an eBook. You could create them and sell them or sell the products online and earn commission or profits. Creating Blog templates is so easy, if you learn basics of HTML and XML you could tweak an existing template and create a new one. There are few blogs and websites where in blog and directory templates are sold for money!!! can cost from $5 up to $50. Creating and selling products can yield low returns initially but once you become popular you will make lots of money.

How to choose profitable domain names?

Selecting domain name is one of the very important decisions, not choosing a good name means not much online business, which implies lesser revenue.

Selecting domain name is also one of the challenging tasks, as most of the attractive and useful domains would be already taken.

Below are some of the factors that you need to keep in mind while selecting a domain name.

a) Domain Length does matter: Domain name value increases when its length is less. e.g.:- AST.com will be valued much much more than AtriaSolutionsTechnology.com. The reason is simple, the domain name "AST" is very easy to remember and this increases chances of visitors coming back to the website again and again. e.g.:- Google purchased smallest domain name "G.cn" to compete with its Chinese search engine rival Baidu.com . The strategy behind this buy is to have smaller domain name and make visitors prefer G.cn over other search engine names.

b) Should be Meaningful: Domain name should reflect the nature of your business. e.g.:- Let's say, you are planning to create a web directory then you should have word directory in the selected name. In this case ideal name would be directory.com if you own this domain name then I would bet you could sell it for more than $50,000 and domain name jewelry.com you can sell it for more than $1,000,000 . diamond.com was actually sold for $7.5 million

c) Prefer smaller domain names: Smaller the domain name more resale value it will have. Smaller domain names are easier to remember than longer ones. e.g.:- www.rich.com will be more preferable than www.howtobecomeRich.com as the domain name is smaller and easier to remember.

d) Domain Extensions: Domain extensions are classified as below. Domain name value is also dependent on what extension it has. Domain Extension preference would be .com >> .net >> .biz >> .info >> .mobi >> .org >> (.us or .uk or .in or any regional extension) >> (.co.uk or .co.in or any ccTLD)

General Domain Extensions (these are also know as TLD - Top Level Domains):

.mobi (Mobile)

Region Specific Extensions (these are also know as TLD - Top Level Domains):

.co.in (commercial india)

.co.uk (commercial UK)

Note: There are several other domain (TLD and CCTLD) extensions apart from the ones listed above.

e) Numeric Domain name: Some of the numbers like "007" signifies bond, "888" signifies slot machine, "666" signifies holy bible number, "786" signifies holy Islam number, "1947" signifies Indian independence in this case both 1947.com and 1947.in are valued more. Similarly, domain names can be alphanumeric e.g.:- "Feb14" signifies Valentines Day and "Dec25" signifies Christmas.

f) Don't Get into Lawsuits:
Avoid registering domain names that are Trademarks (like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft etc.,) or patented words (Page Rank, Ipod etc.,). For e.g.:- "Page Rank" is patented term, incase somebody registers a domain by that name then the domain holder may be asked to surrender the domain name to the patent holder or face law suite and if found guilty then domain name holder has to pay penalty.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is a marketing practice where in a business rewards one or more affiliates for affiliate's marketing efforts for bring-in Visitor/Prospect/Customer to merchant's business center/Website/shop/mall etc.,

Key players involved in Affiliate marketing are Merchant (business or individual who sells products or provides service), Publisher (who will market the product, could be you), Network (acts as an intermediary between publishers, keeps track of clicks, conversion, amount to be paid to publisher etc.,) and Consumer (who buys the products or services).

Affiliate Marketing is different from Display Advertising, where in Publishers are paid for the number of impressions displayed on publisher's website or blog.

Advantages of Affiliate Marketing

1) Merchants have to pay publishers only if a successful conversion is done and not just for banner display. Merchants do save lot of money on advertising than compared to other advertising forms.

2) Affiliate Marketing is more beneficial for Merchants as Publishers will spend more effort in selling the product on their website or blogs by explaining, providing demo of the product or service in order to motivate the prospects to have them converted to customers.

3) Publishers can earn more from affiliate marketing than compared to PPC (Pay Per Click) OR Banner Display advertising models, only if publishers can write professional content on their website or blog that can convince its readers to buy Merchant products or services.

Disadvantages of Affiliate Marketing

1) Publishers have to put in more effort in order to sell the product. As the number page views alone does not determine the revenue in Affiliate Marketing.

2) Publishers often do not prefer Affiliate Marketing as the effort required is more than compared to other forms of advertising. This could also mean there are no publishers available for some of the Merchants. It can really get difficult for merchants to find publishers who will agree to market their products when the products or services are expensive. e.g.:- Incase your website or blog gets 100,000 hits per month its easier to get thousand conversions for item (A) that are priced at $5 than compared to getting 1 conversion for item (B) that are priced over $10,000. So it becomes obvious for publisher to choose items that are lesser priced over items that are expensive, as publisher wants to be assured of more conversion and commission payout.

3) As explained above in point 2, Affiliate Marketing can also become a Category Killer. Publishers are more interested in selling lesser priced mobiles than expensive ones.

4) Return policy can also be one of the discouraging factors for Publishers. e.g.:- If product returns are accepted till 90 days, then merchant may pay only on 91st day after sale. That means there is more wait time to get commissions compared to other forms of advertising.
